About me. (updated CV 03/2022)
I am a PhD student in Dr. Cory Williams lab at Colorado State University in the Department of Biology. While I primarily focus on the neuroendocrinology of appetite and body weight in hibernating mammals, my interests are broad, having no desire to limit myself to any one study species or system. I believe a broad and diverse research background is essential to generate ideas and develop as a competitive researcher.
Outside the lab I enjoy all things active. You can catch me at the climbing gym, cragging up the Poudre Canyon, gravel riding the dirt roads of Northern Colorado, traversing some Colorado 14'ers, or enjoying a hazy IPA on the porch.
